Capo Testa - The shape of Art

Climber Mauro Calibani, former world bouldering champion and founder of the E9 brand, has for years cherished a vision born from his first encounter with Capo Testa, an ancient and powerful place where granite, shaped by wind and sea, takes on unique forms.

This love at first sight gave rise to the desire to bring together some of the most representative figures in contemporary climbing: top-level athletes who share a deep sensitivity towards rock and the beauty of movement.

The expedition thus becomes a sort of artistic symposium, in which each climber is called upon to decipher the place through their own body, experience, and movement. The film explores the intimate motivations that drive a climber to confront their own limits and questions the deeper meaning of climbing: is it the pursuit of performance or an authentic connection with nature?
