Maja Oleksy

Hi, I'm Maja Oleksy, a 17-year-old climber from Tarnów, Poland. My passion for climbing began when I was just 3.5 years old, and it has grown into a lifelong pursuit filled with dedication, discipline, and love for the vertical world.

At age 9, I sent my first 8a route, “Petit Tom,” and since then, I’ve pushed my limits further—achieving ascents up to 8b+, including “Missing Drink” in Osp, Slovenia.

In competition climbing, I've had the privilege of representing Poland at the international level. Some of my most significant achievements include:

  •  Silver medal at the European Cup in Žilina (2023)
  •  Bronze medal at the European Youth Championships in Helsinki (2023)
  • 4th place in Lead at the IFSC Youth World Championships in Dallas (2022)
  •  Bronze medal at the IFSC European Youth Championships in Perm (2021)
  •  Bronze medal at the European Cup in Imst (2023)
  •  Polish National Champion in Lead (2024 & 2025)

These experiences have helped me grow not just as an athlete, but also as a person. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and remain motivated to push further, both on rock and in competition.

Climbing is more than a sport to me—it's a lifestyle and a passion. I’m thankful to be supported by incredible sponsor like E9, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
